Today my hubby and I were planing to go to the seaside. It was such a wonderful idea! I also wanted to use this opportunity to take some self-portraits, and start with them a new “Blue Dress” photography serie. It’s a little day trip that I have been waiting for for a while, since Belgium is not the sunniest place and the summer just finally got to us.
Everything was ready for our adventure and the photo shoot in the wind… blue sea with sand between our toes. Even sun was on our side, everything was ready for our perfect day on the beach, but me :/ Yesterday during my workout I twisted my knee, and it has been hurting me since. I didn’t even notice that I hurt myself, but the constant pain today shows me that I did and my leg will have to rest for a few days. Sadly the wonderful excursion will have to wait.
That’s life, you can make plans while everything might change in the last minute. As long as my knee will recover within the next few days (ok… I’m not very patient and I love my daily workouts so I hope that I will be in great shape by tomorrow [smile]) I don’t even mind, I love being surprised, and challenged by new unexpected ways of life.
Do the best you can with what you have! Right?!
Despite the hurt knee and canceled dreamy photo shoot on the seaside, I decided to use the energy, and get inspired by all the gorgeous accents we have in our studio. Today the music and my mood guided me to the beautiful white lily, and the wonderfully blue fairy-tale dress I just got delivered ♥ I have been dreaming of this sort of dress for as long as I can remember and finally I decided to buy one. I have already plenty of photo shoots planned in it in my mind. I can’t wait to start capturing and making them all a reality [big smile]. The seaside photo session was supposed to start the series, but now the studio treat has started it with grace and elegance that hopefully I will be able to follow soon.
